Our History

The TAM name dates back to 1906 when our company was originally formed as the Titanium Alloy Manufacturing Company (TAMCO) to make titanium alloys for the steel industry by arc furnace processing.  Throughout its history, TAM has undergone a series of management changes, including a period in the early 20th century under the stewardship of National Lead, owner of Dutch Boy Paints.  TAM was a leader in the dielectric materials manufacturing business for over 50 years, and has issued over 70 patents in this field.

TAM was one of the first 100 American businesses to be ISO certified,
and one of the first 500 American businesses to be QS certified.
